To begin with, you must ensure that your planets can support human life by monitoring oxygen levels, air pressure, sea level, or biomass. And you'll also have to research new technologies and organize the settlers. Life itself is a resource. In TerraGenesis, you'll also have to face different events that randomly arise and force you to make decisions.
